Meet Rabbit!

​She's rambunctious, enjoys running around the woods, and collecting flowers to weave into little crowns. She's on her way to getting into trouble but that's a worry for another day.
I had been floating the idea of writing a short story about a girl wearing a rabbit mask and this course presented itself as the perfect opportunity to flesh her out so to speak. There were a few things I got stuck on but it was quickly resolved with the multitude of sketches throughout helping round out the design. Overall I'm thrilled with the final character and can't wait to include her in future projects.
This course was very nicely put together and easy to follow along, which I greatly appreciated! It's a great lesson on character creation and I thoroughly enjoyed taking it as a refresher to prior lessons I've had in the past. I might come back from time to time to refresh myself on the process.

It may have started from an online course but I'm thrilled with getting to experience the process of creating a picturebook. It was surprisingly similar to how I draft my daily comics and more complex game projects.
